Head of U.S. Product & Specialty Sales
Pierre Caramazza is Head of U.S. Product & Specialty Sales at Franklin Templeton. He is responsible for product strategy and development and the distribution of ETFs, SMAs, and other non-traditional vehicles within the U.S.
Since joining Franklin Templeton in 2005, he has held a variety of roles working in product, corporate governance, business development, and strategic relationships. Prior to taking on his current role, Pierre served as the Head of U.S. Financial Institutions Group from 2018 to 2020. He oversaw strategic relationships with U.S. financial institutions covering key gatekeepers and investment research teams across the full spectrum of Franklin Templeton’s client partnerships. Additionally, he spearheaded the business development of Franklin Templeton’s ETF suite within the U.S. From 2011 to 2018, he served as Head of the Private Wealth Division, responsible for Franklin Templeton’s business development with RIAs, Private Banks, and Bank Trusts. Prior to taking on that role, he served as Director of Product Management and Development from 2005 to 2011 responsible for Franklin Templeton’s global product management, development, and implementation.
Before joining Franklin Templeton, Pierre was Senior Vice President at Putnam Investments where he held positions in several product related roles.
