Dimitris Valatsas is an economist and macro strategist with over a decade of experience servicing hedge funds and asset managers. His most recent position is Chief Economist at Greenmantle, a macroeconomic and geopolitical advisory firm servicing some of the largest hedge funds and family offices in the world. Dimitris’s recent work has focused on inflation trends in developed economies, the global rates cycle, and energy economics. He sits on the advisory board of Prometheus Technologies, a machine-learning based portfolio management platform. Dimitris is a CFA charterholder and holds an AB from Harvard University and an MSt from the University of Oxford. His articles and op-eds have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Foreign Policy, and the South China Morning Post, among others.
