Charles Lui, joined Optiver in 2001 after graduating from University of New South Wales Australia with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce majoring Finance and Actuarial Science. Mr. Lui founded Optiver Taiwan in 2005 and founded Optiver Shanghai in 2012. He currently serves as Managing Director of Optiver China and is appointed as a director of Shanghai Futures Exchange Trading Committee, a member of HKEX Derivatives Market Consultative Panel and a member of HKEX Cash Market Consultation Panel. Before relocating to Shanghai, Mr. Lui served as Chairman of Optiver Taiwan Futures Co., Ltd and was elected as an executive director of Taiwan Futures Association and two-time executive director of Taiwan Futures Exchange Trading Committee. He has devoted himself to derivatives industry since graduation and obtains rich experience in options trading, derivatives market making and business management.
