Brett specializes in advising private and publicly-traded investment firms and financial institutions on strategic communications, including financial and corporate public relations, brand building, reputation management and executive positioning.
Brett develops thought leadership platforms, spearheads content development, and manages media engagement and training programs for C-suite executives. He also serves as Chairman of Edelman’s Global Financial Media Center of Excellence, which includes earned media experts across the US, Canada, Latin America, EMEA and APAC.
Brett joined the Financial Communications and Capital Markets practice at Edelman in February 2014 after nearly a decade covering Wall Street and financial markets for The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires.
Brett graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies.
