Dr. Adam Lipson is a board-certified neurosurgeon in his 16th  year of practice as a managing partner at IGEA Brain & Spine, an independent multispecialty private practice in New Jersey and New York City that cares for the spectrum of neuromusculoskeletal disorders.  He performs 300-400 brain and spine surgeries per year, and has subspecialty interests in spine surgery, brain tumors and functional neurosurgery focusing on deep brain stimulation and spinal cord stimulation surgery.  He has nationally-recognized expertise in artificial disc replacement surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery techniques.  Dr. Lipson is also a co-founder of STRYDD, a startup company based in Toronto utilizing portable AI-motion detection algorithms to optimize movement, fitness and rehabilitation.  He is also co-founder of IGEA ventures, and is active as a private investor in early stage biotechnology, biomedical device and alternative energy companies.

Dr. Lipson received his BA in Chemistry and History from Dartmouth College in 1995, and his MD from Harvard Medical School in 2000.  He was a recipient of the Fulbright Fellowship in 1997, where he studied neuroregeneration biology at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden.
